FUCHS BluEV EDF 7005 is a premium-performance electric driveline fluid specifically developed for electric drive units with directly cooled electric motors. It provides excellent lubrication, electrical compatibility, oxidation stability, and high efficiency for modern electric drivetrains.
Unlike conventional automatic transmission fluids, BluEV EDF 7005 is engineered to meet the specialized requirements of electric motors and e-axle transmissions, where both lubrication and electrical characteristics are essential.
Tesla Compatibility
FUCHS recommends BluEV EDF 7005 for applications requiring the following Tesla fluids:
- Tesla EDF-2: OEM Part Number 1616951-04-A
- Tesla KAF 1: OEM Part Number 1646886-04-A
FUCHS identifies Tesla Model 3 and Model Y transmissions as suitable applications and references additional model-year applications from 2021 onward. Compatibility must be verified against the specific drive unit and required fluid specification.
